Wow, we sure have come a long way in one year. ChanStat started off as a small project made by two guys who had nothing better to do. Never in a million years did we think that ChanStat was going to be this large. We’re right now located on two networks, SwiftIRC and Rizon, and we’ve peaked at about 1500 channels.

Development wise, ChanStat is pretty tricky. We’re really only a channel statistics bot, and finding features that stay with that idea is pretty difficult. We right now have two main features: !chanstats and !map. But another one is currently in development. Our most recent development is our new website. We’ve had 3 websites since we first started up; each one gradually improving as i better my HTML/CSS skills .

So lastly, I’d like to thank all of you for the support you’ve given ChanStat over the past year. Keep in mind, we’re always looking for your suggestions on how we can improve the bot. Hopefully, with all your help, we can stay around for many years to come.
